Transcript for March 2nd
Welcome to March 2nd on the National Day Calendar. Today we celebrate life’s high and lows and the loveable twists that the road can take. More after the break with Anna Devere.
The road of life is not always easy, and nothing is scarier than watching your teenage struggle with the added burden of a mental illness.Try starting the conversation with “Sometimes it’s ok to not be ok.” And remind them that you’re there for them no matter what. The road gets smoother if you can help them silence the self-doubt and give them useful ways to be proactive with self-care. During World Teen Mental Wellness Day take time to really listen, and silence your own self-doubt about making a difference.
