National Panda Day | National Everything You Do Is Right Day

Transcript for March 16th

Welcome to March 16th, 2020 on the National Day Calendar.  Today we celebrate the wall flower of bears and crowing like a rooster.  More after the break from our founder, Marlo Anderson.

National Panda Day celebrates one of the world’s most beautiful and beloved black and white creatures.  And if you have ever seen one in person, count yourself lucky. This rare bear likes to keep to itself and can only produce cubs every few years.  With those odds and their shrinking habitat, it’s no wonder panda populations have slipped to fewer than two thousand. If you happen to be celebrating these shy guys at the zoo, be sure to use your inside voices and don’t pull any Kung Fu moves.

And if you were busy celebrating yesterday’s Everything You Think is Wrong Day, this is your day to sing!  Live today like you’re in a musical number with a whole choir belting your name. Do something you love. Believe in yourself. And if your day makes you feel like Rocky Balboa, remember that “comeback spirit”: “It ain’t how hard you get hit.  It’s about how much you can take and keep moving forward.” Hang in there champ and celebrate National Everything You Do is Right Day. You got this!
