Ravioli have been around since the 14th century, and who could imagine anything better than these pockets full of our favorite savories or sweets. But a happy accident in the 1940’s caused a culinary disturbance in the force that’s still popular today. That’s when someone supposedly dropped a ravioli into the fryer at Oldani’s and Bam! the “toasted rav” became an instant hit! Or so the story goes. On National Ravioli Day try these perfect pasta pillows with your favorite sauce or crisp them up for a mouthwatering celebration.
If you’ve been on the fence about popping the question, take it from Mother Nature: love is in the air. Wait no longer for the person who makes you feel so young. Who makes you feel like Spring has Sprung. Today is the day to make it official lovebirds. On National Proposal Day, take the plunge and put a ring on it already!
