Welcome to March 23rd, 2020 on the National Day Calendar. Today we celebrate classic party pairings and “to love or not to love” that is the question. More after the break from our founder, Marlo Anderson.
Batman and Robin. Peanut butter and jelly. Chips and Dip. Things that go together perfectly! And when it comes to party snacks, there’s really nothing better than chips and dip. People may politely take some veggies or nibble at the cheese and crackers, but inevitably they gravitate to the bowl of chips and its partner in crime—dip. Nothing says “fiesta” like tortilla chips and salsa, potato chips and onion dip, pita chips and hummus…do we really need to spell this out for you? On National Chip and Dip Day celebrate your own dynamic duo and please avoid the double dipping.
Unconditional love isn’t easy to find, unless you’re talking about puppies. It’s almost impossible not to feel “joy” when seeing their cuddly, fuzzy, little faces, and while just about everyone loves puppies, not everyone realizes what a big responsibility they are. Like human children, puppies need a lot of care and attention. And because too many dogs are left at shelters once their people lose interest, it’s important to think twice about your adoption choice. If you’re ready for a lifelong friend enjoy the love that a puppy can bring, and if not you can always celebrate National Puppy Day with a cute doggy calendar.
